You are assuming that Lawler will wrestle the match as if it were any normal match. That, like a babyface, who would go do business, then go to the back. In this case, that won't happen. For Lawler, this match is all about getting his hands on Cole, so of course he will prolong the match himself. With JBL as ref, it won't be just a boring massacre. It will have some actual excitement. And maybe they will be able to get back some of the heat that Austin pretty much wasted this week on Raw.
It won't be a boring massacre; it'll be a boring, one sided, "vintage" WWE style special attraction match where the babyface has to overcome insurmountable odds in order to win. If JBL is ref, King won't even get a chance to give Cole enough of a beating to warrant a WM match.
And therein lies the drama. Can king get his revenge with the odds stacked so highly against him?

I don't wanna see King getting beat on by JBL, Swagger, and Cole until someone else gets involved and allows Lawler to hit a Piledriver;
Neither do I. I want to see Lawler either out-fight or outsmart the heels.

Both scenarios are pretty predictable, but I'm tired of WWE pushing all the odds against the face just so they can overcome them. It's stale, unless you do it in a cool way. This has been done a trillion times before....
Everything has been done a million times before. This is just like Homicide vs. Dragon at FB 06, and Rock vs. Big Show (w/Shane as SGR in the build-up to WM2000, or Hogan & Savage vs. the Alliance to End Hulkamania, or any number of other matches. The reason the angle has been done so many times is because it works.
And the heel referee in particular has been done to such perfection in CHIKARA recently (and Vickie has obviously been watching, because she was using some of Zabato's schtick), that I have no doubt that it will add to this match.
