IF YOKOZUNA’S TEAM WINS, HE GETS FIVE MINUTES WITH JIM CORNETTE: Yokozuna, Ahmed Johnson, & Jake “The Snake” Roberts vs. Camp Cornette (Vader, Owen Hart, & The British Bulldog) (w/Jim Cornette)- 5.75/10
BACKLOT BRAWL: Goldust vs. “Rowdy” Roddy Piper (total rating)- eh. I’ll give them credit for being different, but a lot of it seemed a bit silly.
SAVIO VEGA PROMO- okay
SAVIO VEGA vs. “STONE COLD” STEVE AUSTIN (w/Ted Dibiase)- 4/10
ULTIMATE WARRIOR vs. HUNTER HEAREST HELMSLEY (w/Sable)- DUD! Whoever decided to job out a top up and coming star to guy known to be ridiculously hard to work with should be fired. And to have Warrior no-sell the pedigree was even worse.
DIESEL vs. THE UNDERTAKER (w/Paul Bearer)- 7.25/10.
Slightly disappointing, all things considered, but still very enjoyable. This was slightly interesting, as far as big man matches go, as they tried to do some past-paced stuff, since there had been no past-paced matches so far on the card, and Bret and Shawn certainly weren't going to do it in an Iron Man match.
60 MINUTE IRON MAN MATCH FOR THE WWF TITLE: Bret Hart(c) vs. Shawn Michaels (w/Jose Lothario)- A PERFECT 10/10
An awesome 60 minutes of wrestling and then some, in which they really got over just how grueling such a long match can be, ending in one man achieving his boyhood dream.
Overall, not such a good show saved by a PERFECT main event. An absolute must-see for HBK fans.
