Going into today everyone in Block A has six points, aside from Will Ospreay, who is on top with eight, and at the bottom we have TAKA Michinoku with two and Jushin Liger with zero.

BLOCK A MATCH: TAKA Michinoku vs. Ricochet - 5.75/10

Ricochet wins, crushing what little hope TAKA still had of winning.

BLOCK A MATCH: Will Ospreay vs. Taichi (w/El Desperado & Yoshinobu Kanemaru) - 6.75/10

Suzuki-Gun heel shenanigans steal the match for Taichi, tying him at the top with Ospreay.

BLOCK A MATCH: Jushin "Thunder" Liger vs. Dragon Lee - 6.5/10

Liger remains winless.

BLOCK A MATCH: Marty Scurll vs. Hiromu Takahashi - 8/10

Not much to say here other than that this was awesome. Strange as it seems I'm kind of liking how everyone kicks out of Hiromu's finisher the first time he hits it because they always manage to structure the matches around Hiromu going back to it if they kick out again he just keeps going back to it until it puts them down.

Final Thoughts
A fine show from New Japan. Just two shows left for the A Block and a big cluster of guys are right there at the top… but then again, that's what Gedo always does, so I'd actually like to see the tournament structured around some more solid individual stories.
