ANTONIO CESARO & AKSANA vs. THE GREAT KHALI & LAYLA- 1.25/10
Tons of wrestling talent in this match. Of course 99.98% of it belongs to
This brings me to another point: Layla. The reason that she is in this match, as opposed to any other babyface, is that she is the champ. If your champ is going to be in matches like this where she will have to carry the Aksanas of the world, shouldn’t you make sure that your champ is someone who actually can carry her opponent through a match? If you are going to do this sort of stuff with your champ, the belt should be on Nattie or Tamina.
CODY RHODES & TEDDY LONG BACKSTAGE- good for what it was.
IF CODY WINS, HE QUALIFIES FOR MITB: Cody Rhodes vs. Christian- 5.25/10

MITB QUALIFYING MATCH: Alex Riley vs. Dolph Ziggler (w/Vickie Guerrero)- 4.25/10
Great for such a short match. And how over is Alex Riley? He got a big pop… and he hasn’t even been on TV for months! Why are they not using this guy?
AJ, DRAGON, & PUNK SEGMENT- DUD! I am really hating what this whole thing has turned into.
SANTINO MARELLA, SGT. SLAUGER, & “HACKSAW JIM DUGGAN” vs. HUNICO, CAMACHO, & DREW MCINTYRE- 2/10
At least Santino was the one who got the pin. I was afraid they would give one of the old-timers the pin, which would accomplish nothing. Of course, this whole match didn’t accomplish much more than that, but at least this was something.
SANDOW & RYDER SEGMENT & BRAWL AT THE PARTY- Bad. The only enjoyable thing here was Sandow’s line to Ryder “Be it symbolic or genetic, I am by no means your ‘brother.’”
RYBACK SQUASHES HAWKINS & REKS- Finally Ryback beats people who are actually under contract to WWE. Good.
20 MAN BATTLE ROYALE FOR THE RIGHT TO BE THE SMACKDOWM GM NEXT WEEK- 5.75/10
Not even close to being good enough for a main event, but I’ll give it a pass due to the importance of the stip. But speaking of the stip… What is the point of it? They haven’t run out of former GMs yet! They haven’t used Steph or Regal yet (and they only have two weeks to kill off before we get a new GM, so why do this)?
Overall, a very, very bad episode of Smackdown

1. Booker says that Cesaro bringing his girlfriend out here is a bad idea because he might get emotional and screw up. Cole corrects Booker’s stupidity by pointing out that Cesaro was forced into this by the GM, so Booker says “I’m just saying, it’s not something I would do.”
I give Tenay sh*t (and rightfully so) for not remembering important facts of important angles and characters in TNA history, but this is new low. Booker has forgotten that he had HIS OWN WIFE AS HIS VALET… for OVER TWO YEARS (and that is completely ignoring their time in TNA)!
