ADAM COLE PROMO- good

MIKE MONDO PROMO- decent

ADAM COLE vs. MIKE MONDO- 4.75/10
I would have had Cole win with a crossbody off the top rope to make him look more dominant, and then had Kyle talk up how a pinfall won’t count in their “Hybrid Fighting” match at Best In The World 2012

KENNY KING PROMO- good

TOMASSO CIAMPA (w/The Embassy) vs. NICK WESTAGE- good squash

INSIDE ROH SEGMENT- The recap of Briscoes vs. WGTT has horrible. Kevin Kelly starts off saying “Both the Briscoes and Wrestling’s Greatest Tag Team agreed to a Fight Without Honor in Toronto; an agreement that both teams would do anything to win.” He then immediately criticizes Charlie Haas for using ether, saying that Charlie “stooped to a new level, lacking in honor.” So Charlie did something dishonorable in a Fight Without Honor? WELL DON’T THAT JUST BEAT ALL?
Then we got a dumb promo from Haas, followed by Kevin Kelly telling that, for no particular reason, the Briscoes will not be given another title shot while WGTT are still champs. They don’t even get a RETURN MATCH? WTF?!
After an eh promo by Finlay, Kevin Kelly tells us that Eddie Edwards has been challenging a bunch of former World Champions in order to try to beat them in order to ROH Officials to give him a title shot. This would be fine, except that EDDIE ALREADY HAS A TITLE SHOT COMING UP!
Not only that, but Kelly (and the graphics) kept referring to the upcoming PPV as “Best In The World 2012: Hostage Crisis.” Just because Steen is calling it this doesn’t mean that the company should be calling it that or making graphics about it.
At least Shelton’s promo on ANX was good. Jay Lethal also cut a good promo.

MICHAEL ELGIN PROMO- good

CAPRICE COLEMAN & CEDRIC ALEXANDER vs. THE ALL-NIGHT EXPRESS- 6.5/10
The botched timing on the finish made Coleman & Alexander look bad.

CORNETTE, DAVEY, & STEEN & FRIENDS SEGMENT- not very good, but it does feel like it (really Cornette’s character, more than anything else), is going somewhere, and that this segment was a dull but necessary step on the journey.

Overall, a bad episode of ROH.
