[Big Red Machine]

RANDY ORTON & SHEAMUS vs. Kane & Daniel Bryan (w/AJ!)- 6.25/10
Good match. Interesting little development with AJ.

SANRINO MARELLA (w/Teddy Long & Hornswoggle) vs. DAVID OTUNGA (w/John Laurinaitis & Vickie Guerrero)- DUD!
Santino wins quickly after dumb shenanigans involving Hornswoggle.

AFTERMATH- good. Miz saves Johnny Ace from the Cobra, so Johnny gives Miz the final spot on his team at Mania.

KELLY KELLY vs. EVE TORRES (w/Beth Phoenix)- 1/10
Short and pointless

JERICHO PROMO- not good, but it served its purpose to distract Punk.

CM PUNK vs. CHRISTIAN- no rating. Okay segment.

BRODUS CLAY vs. CURT HAWKINS- squash

THE BIG SHOW vs. PRIMO (w/Rosa Mendes & Epico)- Squash
This was a horrible booking idea. If you have to squash someone, DON’T SQUASH ONE OF YOUR CHAMPIONS!

CODY RHODES PROMO- great

THE BELLAS BACKSTAGE- insufferable. Ryder telling one Bella that she should “change her face” got me to chuckle. The stuff with Eve is eh. It depends where it goes.

CM PUNK PROMO- okay

MARK HENRY vs. THE GREAT KHALI- DUD!
This did nothing to help hype the match at Mania, and it did hurt Khali.


AFTERMATH- HORRENDOUS
With no build or anything at all, Drew McIntyre is named to Team Johnny. There should have been an angle here! Like with Ryder joining Team Teddy, there is an angle all set up for him to join Team Johnny… but they just ignored it! For some reason it takes Mark Henry a good 20 minutes to pick Teddy up to try to slam him. Then Booker T makes the save, and he joins Team Teddy, taking Henry out with ease.

THE ROCK & JOHN CENA SEGMENT- Rock was eh. Cena’s promo was a roller-coaster. It was great at times and bad at others. Rock’s response to Cena was good.

Overall, an eh episode of Raw, and it was okay as a go-home show. They touched on all of the feuds, but the GM’s match got WAY too much time here and a lot of that actually hurt the match. Meanwhile Kane vs. Orton barely got a mention, the Divas match got even less, and what seems to be a major development in AJ’s character that seems likely to have a major impact on the Dragon vs. Sheamus, and that gets completely ignored.
