LuchaWorld Podcast Episode #3 recorded on a sunny, Saturday afternoon in Southern California! We discuss some recent CMLL and AAA including how weak their most recent big shows were, Kurt talks about La Sombra, the recent WWE try-outs in Mexico and how much people are assuming and how much is really newsworthy. Sting vs. El Mesias is discussed. Sin Cara Azul vs. Sin Cara Negro (Hunico) and how that was botched by WWE. Women’s wrestling with Kurt remembering Sirenita. We talk recent indy shows in Mexico and one in SoCal that featured a really fun match between Famous B and B-Boy. Also the supposed cancellation of LLUSA’s Masked Warriors show on MTV2 (which depending on who you believe, no one can give you a definite answer on). IWL and DTU using a lot of wrestlers on recent shows. We discuss wrestling on TV and Dave WhatsHisName! Why Blue Panther and Villano III are not in the WON HOF? Rob Naylor going to FCW and who takes over as the overly enthusiastic podcasters in the wrestling community. End of show features a clip from Howard Stern show (prank call by Sal and Richard to a wrestling show), which I mentioned during the show. WARNING: It contains strong language, so if you are easily offended don’t listen to that part of the show. Its at the end for a reason. We also learn that Saturday afternoon is probably not a good time to record a podcast in SoCal. We also somehow talked for 30 minutes without realizing the show wasn’t being recorded…’tis the life of a wrestling podcast.
