ROH Death Before Dishonor IX Live Discussion

It has been 8 years since Ring of Honor first presented a “Death Before Dishonor” event to the ROH faithful. The date: July 19, 2003. The location: the much loved Rexplex in Elizabeth, NJ. That night was highlighted by a violent Dog Collar Match pitting CM Punk against Raven, the culmination of AJ Styles & Amazing Red’s battles with the Briscoes over the ROH Tag Titles, and Paul London’s tearful farewell as he attempted to end Samoa Joe’s ROH World Title reign.

In the years since that first “DBD”, ROH has expanded across the country for live events, toured into the UK & Japan, aired television for two years on HDNet, innovated wrestling on iPPV along with GoFightLive, and maintained one consistent fact: Ring of Honor is home to the greatest professional wrestling on the planet, bar none.

Now we stand on the cusp of a new era for Ring of Honor with our debut on SBG networks across the country on Saturday night September 24th, but before we get there, we bring to you THIS Saturday night, the 9th annual “Death Before Dishonor” live on iPPV from NYC! With one of the most dangerous matches in ROH’s history and a true test of endurance & skill capping off the event, “DBD IX” will continue the tradition of wrestling excellence you’ve come to expect from ROH on IPPV!
