Was Kharma's address the best thing??
Was Kharma's address the best thing??
So we all speculated about Kong/Kharma's pregnancy. WWE decided to go ahead and have her reveal to the world that she was pregnant as to write her off from the E for now.
But, was this the best thing to do? could it hurt her character? could it been better to writer her off with some other excuse like an injury? or a kayfabe release?
what do you think?

Re: Was Kharma's address the best thing??
Put simply, no.
Why have her break character on your biggest show?
Why have her break character on your biggest show?
Reality TV is faker than "fake" wrestling!

But her character is so new, and we know nothing about her. This gives her a 100% fresh slate when she gets back. Is assaulting the divas randomly really party of her personality? Or was it just hormones?kirbs2002 wrote:

Now WWE can write it however they want.

This. They can go so many ways with this, it's so open. There can be a million reasons for her anger...Big Red Machine wrote:But her character is so new, and we know nothing about her. After watching the segment, this could definitely open the doors to a multi-champ, world traveled Kong and not just a diva-killer kharma.

I never in a million years thought I'd see "Kharma" on RAW.
I'm not sure yet whether it was the best thing, we'll have to see where they go with it I guess.

At least now she's given an insight into her career... in her speech she's outlined that she's a well travelled competitor who's never fitted... she's always wanted to be a "superstar"... too "fat" to be a diva (Which got me pissed off at JR for a few minutes) (which would explain her actions against the pretty little things called the Divas.)...
She can come back in 1 year (as she said) and come out running now... they can take her character anywhere...

true; although I would have preferred she establish herself as a force of nature before becoming more human. This still works though...cero2k wrote:After watching the segment, this could definitely open the doors to a multi-champ, world traveled Kong and not just a diva-killer kharma.

I like where that speech has put her character. She's no longer this mystical diva-killer who doesn't offer explanations and doesn't give a damn. She's now your average person, but if you get in her way, she WILL kick the shit out of you, without a moment's hesitation.
She could go the Big Show route and be a happy giant, kicking ass, taking names, and getting cheered. Then later on, she can get a huge reaction from a heel turn.

I think her speech was a good thing.
I don't think any of us, or the WWE, or even Kharma, knows for certain if she will ever be seen again on a WWE program, or even on TV as a whole. WWE may decide in a year that they don't know how to write her into anything. Kharma could decide in a year that she has had her fun and her new family is more important than her wrestling career.
Bearing this in mind, I think it's great that she was able to be her real self and share her thoughts publicly, knowing that it may be her one and only opportunity.

I think we're all missing the point; who the hell would impregnate her? I mean, who COULD? Have you ever seen her? It would take an army.
That's bad, I know...
But seriously, I think it was a good idea. It gives her a clean slate and adds another layer to her character.
