How would you run your own Wrestling Company?

Post by womenwrestlerfan » Dec 30th, '10, 13:13

Hey guys,

Here's a fun question for all of you:

Now, since you guys want to talk about how would you run a Wrestling Company, here's one for ya:

How would you run your own Wrestling Company?

Which Veterans and Young Talents would you hire?

Which Bookers would you hire?

Who would you hire to run your company and your stock?

Which Female Wrestlers would you hire?

Which Managers and Valets would you hire?

Which Titles would you create?

Which Announders, Interviewers and Ring Announcers would you hire?

and also, would you team up w/the NWA, WWE or TNA?

Please make your list and later on, I will list my own potentials

and also, no attacking other people's thoughts and please, no posting that you want to slap, punch or kick a promoter or a booker

Vince, The McMahons, Hogan, Bischoff, Cornette, Heyman, Jarrett, Russo or Dixie Carter

How would you run your own Wrestling Company?
I would go for a two show week to cover most of the wrestler. One show would be storyline-driven, while the other would be wrestling-driven. both would have the same amount of wrestling, but one show would have matches according to storylines, No1 contenderships, etc. while the other show would touch on the feuds, yet matches would be a bit more random so that wrestlers get to show off.

From the veterans, some of them would work as managers (Flair, Angle, Corino), some would actually wrestle (Daniels, Angle, Cena,Wagner), some would be trainers (malenko, Steamboat, AA, Kane).

Which Veterans and Young Talents would you hire?70 On air employees
veterans: Jericho, Malenko, Steamboat, Flair, Arn Anderson, Angle, Cena, Wagner, LA Park, Silver King, Edge, Daniels, kane, corino

Young: Richards, Strong, Aries, Danielson, Pope, Swagger, Dibiase Jr, Black, Mistico, Hijo del Perro Aguayo, Del Rio, Styles, Joe, Red, Kaz, london, abyss, volador jr, la sombra, cm punk, steen, generico

Tag Teams; MCMG, KOW, Beer Money, Hart Dinasty, Kozmarella, briscoes

Which Bookers would you hire?
Gabe, Pierce and Roldan...and me

Who would you hire to run your company and your stock?
I'll do it myself

Which Female Wrestlers would you hire?
Women: McCool, Nat, Rayne, Daffney, Kong, Hamada, Death Rey, Melissa, Phoenix, Sexy star, haze, portia perez

Which Managers and Valets would you hire?
Managers/Valets: Armando Estrada, So Cal Val, Cookie, Smokes, Sweeney, Prazak

Which Titles would you create?
World Title
Women's World title
Tag Team Titles
NSA Title :D

Which Announcers, Interviewers and Ring Announcers would you hire?
Announcers: Joey Styles/Micheal Cole/JBL (lol, cuz they all hate each other)
Interviews: Kevin Kelly
Ring Announcers: Bobby Cruise

and also, would you team up w/the NWA, WWE or TNA?
no, cuz i took all their talent, I would team with ROH, CMLL, AAA, NJPW, DGUSA, and NOAH.

Firstly, I would use the reverse WCW/TNA Theory... and anything they do, I wouldn't repeat.

As for veterans, I'd only have 3 or 4 maximum simply for getting younger guys over, I'd have vets like Sting, Kurt Angle, Kane & Sean Morley... but their only use would be to put younger guys over.

As for bookers, mainstream wrestling these days doesn't really have "Bookers" as such, as that power tends to go with the writers now. So my answer here would be none.

I would give power of office to most likely Paul Heyman, the man is a genius with what fans want and how to deliver it, he also knows the back end of a company too.

Female Wrestlers: Hamada, Awesome Kong, MsChief, Mickie James, Angelina Love, Tara, Taylor Wilde, Sarita, Beth Phoenix, Cheerleader Melissa, Eve Torres, Maryse Oullet, Gail Kim, Layla El & Michella McCool.

Male Wrestlers: AJ Styles Amazing Red, D'Angelo Dinero, Desmond Wolfe, Douglas Williams, Eric Young, Kazarian, Matt Morgan, Samoa Joe, CM Punk, Brian Danielson, Evan Bourne, John Cena, John Morrison, The Miz, Ted DiBiase Jr., Wade Barrett, Alberto Del Rio, Chris Masters, Christian, Dolph Ziggler, Edge, Jack Swagger, Christopher Daniels, Davey Richards, Eddie Edwards, Tyler Black & Roderick Strong

Tag Teams: Motor City Machineguns, Beer Money, Generation Me, London Brawling, Kings of Wrestling, World's Greatest Tag Team & Hart Dynasty

Managers: Ric Flair (But only for management, the only gear that guy would wear in my company is a suit...no wrestling gear...ever), Paul Heyman would also be used for management services. At points several of the female & male wrestlers (if injured or storyline fitswould also become valets/managers) for other wrestlers.

Announcers & Backstage interviewers: Jim Ross, Michael Cole, Matt Striker & Josh Matthews

As for Championship Belts, I would have The World Heavyweight Championship, The Contintenal Championship, The Cruiserweight Championship, Tag Team Championships & The Women's World Championship.

I would remain entirely independent as far as partnerships with any other company are concerned, unless of course I had a developmental relationship with them.

Aside from going into the basckstage of it all... that would probably be it for me and my promotion.

I would take over the NWA World titles & be the top promotion ala TNA or JCP...instead It'd be a World wide organization in reality with TV shows on every continent showcasing talent from that part of the world with the World, World tag team, World TV, World Cruiserweight, & Intercontinental titles actually travel to each regional area...

Championships:
World Heavyweight
World tag team
World Television
World Cruiserweight
Intercontinental
Continental, tag team, cruiserweight, & tv titles on each continent & Middle East

Paul Heyman would run the main office. I would run the financial end getting all the financial sponsors after gathering the best wrestlers in the entire World...

Each country would have 2 shows: A primary show showcasing the absolute top talent & a secondary show showcasing the continental talent of that particular area of the World

In other words, I'd use this opportunity to help the NWA rise back to the top of the wrestling world...& run BOTH WWE & TNA either out of business or make them members of the NWA again...
