NATHAN FRAZIER vs. SHA SAMUELS (w/Noam Dar)- 6/10
Frazier was a good plucky babyface against the big mean heel. He overcame Dar’s distractions and interference to get the win.

JOSEPH CONNERS (& JINNY PROMO)- good
They let Conners do most of the talking this time. This was fine build for an upcoming match against “Flash” Morgan Webster.

NOAM DAR COMPLAINS ABOUT GETTING EJECTED FROM RINGSIDE- fine
He also cut a promo for a match against Ilja Dargunov.

ASHTON SMITH vs. TEOMAN- 6.75/10
Before the match, we were told that Teoman caused a serious injury to his last opponent (and shown the footage of the arm-breaking spot).
Teoman worked over the arm and again got the victory. They’re doing a GREAT job of making him look vicious and dangerous. Giving him the win over the much larger Ashton Smith here was a good call.

POST-MATCH SEGMENT- good
Teoman attacked Smith after the match but Oliver Carter made his big return to make the save.

ILJA DARGUNOV INTERVIEW- great!
Noam Dar has bitten off more than he can chew.

PRETTY DEADLY BOTHER JACK STARZ- fine
They heels say Starz should find a friend to face them in the ring.

ANDY WILD vs. KENNY WILLIAMS- squash

KAY LEE RAY VS. MEIKO SATOMURA VIDEO PACKAGE- very good

RAMPAGE BROWN VS. JOE COFFEY VIDEO PACKAGE- very good

TRENT SEVEN vs. SAM GRADWELL- 7.75/10
A great main event. This was a heck of a slugfest. Once again, while I understand that Seven had to win for the sake of the storyline (otherwise Gradwell is right and seven is all washed up), I really wish they’d be able to give Gradwell a big win here and there. He is SOOOO good at what he does, both in the ring and especially on the mic.


A very good episode of NXT UK. Next week is a big show, with Coffey vs. Rampage and Dar vs. Ilja.
