NJPW Announces Full Card for 48th Anniversary Show

The full card has been revealed for New Japan Pro Wrestling's 48th Anniversary event.

A non-title special singles match between Los Ingobernables de Japon members Tetsuya Naito and Hiromu Takahashi had already been confirmed as the main event of the show. Naito is the IWGP Heavyweight & Intercontinental Champion, while Takahashi holds the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship.

An eight-man tag match between Chaos and LIJ will be the semi-main event. Kazuchika Okada, Will Ospreay, SHO & YOH will face Shingo Takagi, EVIL, SANADA & BUSHI.

Hiroshi Tanahashi, Kota Ibushi & Ryusuke Taguchi vs. Zack Sabre Jr., Taichi & DOUKI is also set for the show. After Tanahashi & Ibushi won the IWGP Tag Team titles last week, there was a post-match angle where they were attacked by Sabre & Taichi.

The Anniversary show is taking place at Ota City General Gymnasium in Tokyo on Tuesday, March 3. It will begin at 5 a.m. Eastern time and air live on New Japan World.
