After a night in which Raw ratings fell slightly, SmackDown reversed that pattern by increasing their ratings by one percent over last week.
Tuesday's episode, which featured an unadvertised WWE title match between AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan, averaged 2.11 million viewers.
With Raw down, SmackDown retained the usual 85 percent of their audience from Monday night. Year-over-year, the ratings were basically even -- but it should be noted that SmackDown aired on Halloween night in 2017, which traditionally costs either Raw or SmackDown 5-10 percent of their audience.
With no major sports competition, SmackDown finished ninth in terms of total viewers on cable for the night, but it returned to the top spot in the 18-49 demo with a 0.73 rating, over 40 percent higher than their nearest competition.
In other ratings news, UFC had their lowest-ever Saturday night audience on FS1, averaging just 513,000 viewers for the show headlined by Anthony Smith's third round submission win over Volkan Oezdemir.
