Hmmm... that last part seems to indicate that they have less in the way of talent and more in the way of famous fathers

it's not necessarily bad when it comes to gaijin young lions, from what i understand, they still have a bunch of japanese young lions too

I was really hoping that Colby would be the ROH Dojo success story, because god knows everyone else has been somewhat of a bust

Except that Colby was working for years before he officially started training at the ROH Dojo, so even he wouldn't really be a student of the ROH Dojo. That thing has been such a huge bust. When the biggest star and best wrestler you've ever produces is Rhett Titus... well...
