-- The first names confirmed by PWInsider.com as returning to the WWE main roster post-Draft are former ECW and NWA champion Rhyno and Brian "Curt Hawkins" Myers.
The tentative plan is for the pair to be on the Smackdown brand, although until they debut on TV, that could always change.
There are several other names we have discussed in Elite audio as WWE being interested in for a return, but thus far only Rhyno and Myers are confirmed.
-- It was notable that unlike other wrestler/manager combinations, Lesnar was not listed with Paul Heyman. Heyman’s contract with WWE has expired and at this point the sides haven’t come to an agreement for a renewal, so he was never mentioned as coming to Raw with Lesnar.

This would be the same Rhyno who just jobbed to Joe in a mere seven minutes and who also is in the middle of a campaign for the Michigan statehouse? Bad idea on Rhyno's part, and just poor booking for WWE to have him lose to Joe like that and then return to the main roster (especially when his return to NXT last year was all about him wanting to prove he can make it on the main roster, and yet all of his most recent big matches have been losses to NXT guys (Joe, Corbin).

And as for Hawkins... who cares? He's not a name that is going to excite people, and he's beaten jobber out so much for so long that there is no value for anyone who beats him. The type of guys WWE should be trying to bring in for this sort of spot are the MVP/Rhyno/Shelton/Carlito level midcarders.

exactly, he was used less back then than the jobbers of today, and it's not like he revamped his career and had a second coming, he still sucks as much as he used to before getting fired. Now, if they reunite The Edgeheads, i'm downBig Red Machine wrote:And as for Hawkins... who cares? Just like I told you in NXT, Rhyno is just a basic guy for Joe to beat now and again. Curt Hawkins comes back to straighten out his former partner .. that I'd watch!
When they come, they'll come at what you love.
