Hmm...
The lack of Jay Lethal is interesting.
I'm also surprised that Sydal hasn't been announced, considering that Collinsville is basically St. Louis, which is his home market. It'd be nice if they actually followed up on Sydal and Delirious pinning the tag champs at Road to Best in the World 2015: Collinsville and gave them a tag title shot here. It'd be a solid first win for War Machine (assuming they don't face ANX at the 1/9 tapings).

Apparently the reason that Lethal (and AJ Styles) aren't on these shows is that they are working in UK that weekend.

No.
Hidden text.
The changes are that Truth kicked Dijak out for being a "weak link." Yeah. DIJAK got kicked out for being the "weak link," but J. Diesel is still part of the group.

This week's observer says that ANX will be getting their tag title shot on the 1/9 tapings, and that show will also have Shelley vs. Kazarian

well, if we're doing Roddy vs The World, you need to bring outside talent, still, MASADA is an interesting choice

That's just it. He's old and not very good. I'd much rather they try out a younger guy or get someone from New Japan or something.

I have left the link as such due to WK spoilers, but what I'd really like to comment on is this claim that this random one-off singles match with Dalton Castle is Ferrara's "biggest singles opportunity yet in ROH!" Because it's not like he's ever faced Jay Lethal for the TV Title or anything, right? And even if he hadn't, this is a guy who has wrestled the likes of Roderick Strong, Michael Elgin, Adam Cole, and at least one of the Briscoes, all of whom are much bigger stars for ROH than Dalton Castle.

Doesn't matter. He had the opportunity to win those other matches, too. It's just a dumb thing to say, and these ROH write-ups have started containing a lot more dumb things in the past few months.

I'm pretty certain. CageMatch.net doesn't have anything listed, and they seem to be pretty good.

Hopefully they let this be the main event instead of some random stupid Young Bucks tag team match or something.

My initial reaction to this was pretty viscerally negative, but I'm really not sure why. I think it was more of me not wanting to see Roddy and Lethal near each other anymore. I think it also has to do with the fact that my general assumption was that we were going to get War Machine defending the tag titles against Gallows & Anderson, both because it's certainly what both Gabe and Pearce would have done, and because it seems like both the right and most obvious thing to do. Gallows & Anderson are leaving the promotion, they are big names who have been protected in their (limited) ROH appearances and in New Japan, so them getting a title shot makes sense, and beating them would be both a big win for the up-and-coming team of War Machine as well as another defense to add prestige to their first title reign. BUT...

You can always do a title match the next night in Duluth (although Gallows or Anderson should probably take the pin both matches, so you would still be beating them right before a title shot, but in this case I'll just say "whatever. Both were announced in advance).

What this match also gives us is a decent B-level house show main event which not only could be good enough to sell the show on it's own, but should open up spots for other guys (Moose/Page/Cedric/Silas/Castle/ACH/Sydal) to step up and show what they can do in a featured match. Plus, it's a fun idea for a match that you'll pretty much never be able to do again, so why not go for it?

A perfect name for this show would be Champions vs. Bullet Club
