This seems like the right call even though it's heel vs. heel, but wasn't Naito vs. Shibata already announced?cero2k wrote:hope they will go with Ingobernables vs Bullet Club for WK
They also did have Goto & Shibata beat Gallows & Anderson, so they could use that to make it a three-way at the Tokyo Dome.

i don't think it was official, but everyone was expecting Ingobernables vs Meiyu Tag because of the naito/shibata feud. I guess you can do Makabe/Homna vs BC just to have something for both guys, especially now that both are done with IshiiBig Red Machine wrote:This seems like the right call even though it's heel vs. heel, but wasn't Naito vs. Shibata already announced?cero2k wrote:hope they will go with Ingobernables vs Bullet Club for WK

I don't like the idea of Ingobernables losing right now. They should be cheating to win. Also, not doing a three-way seems to make Shibata & Goto's win over the Bullet Club pointless. If you have the Ingobernables cheat to beat Honma and Makabe, you can have Makabe drop the NEVER Title at the Dome and have Ingobernables win the tag titles at the Dome. Then get Makabe and Bullet Club's rematches out of the way in February, and you have two strong babyface teams chasing Los Ingobernables for the tag tiles heading into the spring. With some careful booking, they could probably hold off on a Naito vs. Shibata singles match until the 2017 Tokyo Dome show if they wanted to.cero2k wrote:i don't think it was official, but everyone was expecting Ingobernables vs Meiyu Tag because of the naito/shibata feud. Makabe already dropped the title back to Ishii in october, that's why i don't even know what to do with him if not the tag titles.Big Red Machine wrote: I don't like the idea of Ingobernables losing right now. He did? Well... the fact that I didn't even notice that sure says a lot about New Japan's booking as of late.cero2k wrote:Makabe already dropped the title back to Ishii in october, that's why i don't even know what to do with him if not the tag titles.Big Red Machine wrote: I don't like the idea of Ingobernables losing right now. Either way, this would still build him and Honma up as a tag team because they made it to the finals and got screwed out of the match. It's just waiting a bit to give them the title shot, and giving them a title shot against the team that screwed them. I think that's a much better story than a random match with the Bullet Club.
