In their Raw preview on the WWE website, WWE announced that the tournament to crown the new WWE World Heavyweight champion will kick off on Raw from Manchester, Great Britain. The tournament will continue on tomorrow's Smackdown taping.

WWE declared the title vacant on Thursday after Seth Rollins tore his ACL, MCL and meniscus wrestling Kane in Dublin, Ireland.
