MADISON RAYNE VIDEO PROMO- a little repetitive, but still good

WORLD TITLE SERIES GROUP KNOCKOUTS MATCH: Brooke Tessmacher(3) vs. Madison Rayne(0)- 3.75/10
Pope described breaking a finger as “one of the worst pains there is.” I am fortunate in that I have never broken a bone before, but when people talk about “the worst pain there is,” they tend to list things like passing a kidney stone or giving birth. I’ve never heard anyone list breaking a finger anywhere near those.

EY PROMO- hated it. I just can’t stand his fake tough guy voice and random shouting.

WORLD TITLE SERIES GROUP UK MATCH: Bram(0) vs. Rockstar Spud(3)- 3.5/10

BOBBY ROODE PROMO- great!

WORLD TITLE SERIES GROUP X-DIVISION MATCH: Mandrews(0) vs. Manik(3)- 6.5/10
I was shocked they gave these guys as long as they did, but these are to guys who we know can deliver. Hopefully this performance impresses TNA officials enough to actually give them something to do once the World Title Series is over.

EDDIE & DAVEY PROMO- exactly what you’d expect it to be, and it was good. These guys come off like real friends. Funny thing, that.

MORE EY SH*T- terrible. He says that he is biding his time and that he will attack Roode when Roode isn’t expecting it and can’t defend himself. Well if that was your plan, you probably shouldn’t have mentioned that you were going to attack him in your earlier promo, dumbass. At the very least, you should have lied in this promo and just agreed with cameraman that you had given up looking for Roode.
And you as for you, Mr. Cameraman… DON’T ENCOURAGE THE PSYCHOPATH TO ASSAULT PEOPLE!

JEFF HARDY INTERVIEW PART 2- also GREAT! THIS is what they should be spending their time doing to fill time on these shows. If you want an example of what they SHOULDN’T be doing, well…

BOBBY ROODE FINDS ERIC YOUNG- SO F*CKING STUPID!
Roode runs up to EY and says that if EY wants to fight, Roode will gladly fight him right now. They get face to face with Roode dating EY to try to hit him, and EY says “I’ve already hit you. You’re worried about what I’m gonna do, not what you’re gonna do.”
WHAT THE F*CK DOES THAT EVEN MEAN?!
Oh. Apparently it’s supposed to me “mind games” because Roode vows that he will not led EY get in his head. EY insists that he’s already there. Roode responded to this by shouting “NO YOU’RE NOT! NO YOU’RE NOT! NO YOU’RE NOT! HIT ME!” Then EY repeated I’m already in your head” and then he walked away.
This was SOOOO DUMB! Can someone please explain to me what extra worries or question EY has placed in Roode’s head by doing this that are supposedly going to distract him or cause him to think wrongly or whatever? Because I just don’t see it. This wasn’t “mind games.” Mind games is making the other guy suspect that his manager is secret on your side and going to stab him in the back, or at the very least freaking him out by making him think he’s seeing you everywhere and making him paranoid of an attack that will never come, so he can’t focus on his training or pre-match routine. What we got here was “mind games” as written by a complete and total hack… and even if the idea had been good, EY and Roode’s utterly insufferable overacting would have totally killed it. At this point, I honestly hope that I never have to see these two interact backstage again until they’re on the same side of the face/heel line.

Wow. This dumb Pope & Josh “pick your winner by swiping” Tinder knockoff gimmick HAS to go.

KENNY KING PROMO- he claims that Kenny King is stealing his women and they have personal issues. Some sort of backstage segment to build this up would have been nice. Other than that, though, Kenny’s promo was, as always, awesome.

WORLD TITLE SERIES GROUP WILD CARD MATCH: Mahabali Shera(3) vs. Kenny King(3)- 4.25/10
Josh Matthews claimed that “you don’t know what to expect” from Mahabali Shera. Oh really, Josh? How about this: a bad, short match and him doing his dumb little dance a lot? I’m only guessing that because THAT’S WHAT HAS HAPPENED EVERY SINGLE F*CKING MATCH SINCE HIS BABYFACE TURN.
Well… I guess I owe Josh an apology. Kenny King carries Shera to quite the watchable match, with no Shera Shaking during the match at all.


WORLD TITLE SERIES GROUP TNA ORIGINALS MATCH: Bobby Roode(3) vs. Eric Young(0)- 5.5/10
Nothing they did in this match in any way even hinted that EY’s “mind games” gave him an advantage, so that whole thing was a complete and total waste of time. The match was short and very disappointing. The Wolves match would have been a MUCH better choice as a main event. Also, the tattoo on Eric’s arm looks really stupid.


A good show from TNA, aside from the EY-Bobby Roode crap.
