BRM Reviews the 7/29/2015 ROH

[Big Red Machine]

JOHNATHAN GRESHAM & COREY HOLLIS vs. THE KINGDOM (Matt Taven & Michael Bennett) (w/Maria Kanellis)- perfect semi-squash.
We had a loud, rousing chant of “LET’S GO JOBBERS!”

SIX MAN MAYHEM MATCH: “Brutal” Bob Evans vs. Caprice Coleman vs. Silas Young vs. Cheeseburger vs. Moose (w/Stokely Hathaway) vs. Dalton Castle (w/the boys)- 4/10
Very disappointing. The big problem here, to me, was that they didn’t do anything to advance either Bob vs. Cheeseburger or Castle vs. Young other than just have them hit wrestling moves on each other. There was nothing that played into the story of either of those feuds.

DECADE SEGMENT- Whitmer was being a HUGE sh*t. He has booked Colby in a gauntlet match against four large MoFo’s from the ROH tryout camp. Steve Corino took a stand against this and was ready to fight. Then Whitmer asked Corino how long it would be before abandons his wife and other kid just like he abandoned Colby. Corino went nuts, but Nigel and refs were already out there to break it up. GREAT stuff! There was no way you could watch this and not think that BJ Whitmer is the biggest piece of sh*t in the history of the world.
When we got back from commercial, Nigel had replaced Corino on commentary.

ACH vs. BOBBY FISH- 7.5/10

A decent episode of ROH.
