CHAVO & CUETO- very intriguing.
Chavo is willing to betray Black Lotus (or is he?) in exchange for Dario’s protection form his debts in Mexico (the same thing he is getting from Dragon Azteca to watch her back). Also, Dario not only knows who Dragon Azteca is, but is afraid of him. Chavo thinks Dragon Azteca has someone inside the temple, helping him.

WINNER GETS ONE OF THE SEVEN AZTEC MEDALLIONS: Jack Evans vs. Argenis- 5.75/10
Oh yeah. I’d forgotten about those medallions.
Jack asked “who is better?” and my instinctive reflex was to respond by shouting “KANYON!”

Striker reminds us that Fenix won the first medallion, but then asks “who knows if we’ll ever see Fenix again after what happened last week.” That brings up an interesting thought: Fenix should have died taking that bump, right? What if he is kept alive because he got the medallion?

RYCK AND DAIVARI NEED TO FIND A PARTNER- good
Ryck suggests his cousin The Mack, but Cage shows up and beats Mack up. They’ve got something interesting brewing here between Big Ryck and The Mack.

CHAVO SETS UP BLACK LOTUS- Good segment, and a really cool fight scene!

LUCHA UNDERGROUD TRIOS TITLE MATCH: Angelico, Ivelisse, & Son of Havok(c) vs. Delavar Daivari, Big Ryck, & Cage- 5.25/10
Good for what it was. Ivelisse really stole the show on the outside, though.

SUBMISSION MATCH: Pentagon Jr. vs. Sexy Star- 6.75/10
Sexy Star, the babyface, jumps Pentagon Jr., the heel, from behind.
Vampiro was terrible on commentary, but Striker did a good job of countering his stupidity. It kept me from screaming “SHUT UP AND LET HER BE A BRAVE BABYFACE!” every few seconds.
I get why they did what they did (it allows them to keep both wrestlers strong and transition them both into new feuds), but it felt a little cheap to me for this to be the blow-off.
