Dana Brooke gets her name in the opening credits before Alexa Bliss does? Is there no justice in this world?!
TYLER BREEZE vs. ADAM ROSE- 6.75/10
Let the Battle of Who Has the Better Red Robe begin!
Wow. This was a lot better than I was expecting.
DEVIN TAYLOR INTERVIEWS SOLOMON CROWE- wow. Sami was a MUCH better promo on the indies.
DANA BROOKE WON A BIG BODYBUILDING CONTEST- good for her.
SOME DUDE INTERVIEWS EVA MARIE- wow. The crowd hates her guts. She gets possibly the most well-deserved “YOU CAN’T WRESTLE!” chants in history. Her promo came across like she just completely didn’t understand WHY the women in NXT are getting so much attention (because they are great workers being given time to do their thing), and when combined with the crowd reaction she got, it makes it seem like this venture- like every time WWE has put her in the ring- is doomed to failure.
REGAL’S ANNOUNCEMENT- STEEN vs. BALOR IN JAPAN, LIVE ON THE NETWORK!
ALEXA BLISS! (w/Wesley Blake & Buddy Murphy) vs. CARMELLA (w/Colin Cassaday & Enzo Amore)- 3/10
Blake, Murphy, & Alexa’s entrance is a lot less seizure inducing this week, so we’re off to a good start. Blake & Murphy are doing the old T & A “lift the girl up by her pits and lift her high in the air to show off your strength” gimmick which I love, but it’s still nowhere near as awesome as Alexa’s babyface entrance.
The match was good for what it was. Alexa definitely has personality as a heel as well, but she just isn’t as fun to watch as she is as a babyface. I hated the finish, which was “grab the ropes for illegal leverage,” but done in a way that makes no sense to anyone with a basic understanding of physics. THE ROPES ARE NOT MAGICAL!
DEVIN TAYLOR INTERVIEWS RHINO- decent.
SAMI ZAYN VIDEO- great!
THE VAUDEVILLANS vs. JASON JORDAN & MARCUS LOUIS- 3.5/10
So months after running off into the night, Marcus Louis is just back to work with no explanation?
SASHA BANKS VIDEO PACKAGE- a great video package, but a bit unnecessary.
FINN BALOR PROMO- good.
FINN BALOR vs. RHINO- 7.5/10
Rhino GORED Balor after the match.
A good episode of NXT. Things are moving a bit slowly, but considering that I don’t expect the next Takeover special to be until September, that’s a good thing.
The new ring announcer was very good.

Re: BRM Reviews the 6/3/2015 NXT
Glad the Vaudvillians are back, and I like that they seem to finally be working to get Jordan over with the crowd. Louis could even be useful if they actually use him (that mandible lock looked pretty vicious). I thoroughly enjoyed this episode bc they added some layers to some of the less exposed talents and that's great! The Gore at the end was just icing on the cake.
They even seem to be doing something with Adam Rose (who, after watching the ESPN special, should go back to NXT and just work with that brand. The main roster is just not for him imo)

this, it's a small blessing in disguise that Itami and Sami are out, and that Owens is moving to the main roster, it gives chance to start building up the guys who actually need building up.badnewzxl wrote:Glad the Vaudvillians are back, and I like that they seem to finally be working to get Jordan over with the crowd.
