Arrest Warrant Issued Againt Teddy Hart For Sexual Assault

Teddy Hart (Edward Annis), the third generation Hart family member, is currently wanted for several charges, including sexual assault in Edmonton, Canada.

The Toronto Sun is reporting that Hart has several charges that have been brought against him by two different women, one aged 24 and the other aged 40, including a single count of sexual assault and unlawful confinement for each victim and three charges of assault.

Hart is currently in the United States and will be arrested once he returns to Canada, according to the article.

Hart's father, former Stampede wrestler BJ Annis told the newspaper, "He’ll be back. He’s talking to a lawyer right now, so we’ll see what happens."

His father also claimed the issues were actually of a personal nature, saying, "Hell has no fury like a woman scorned. I’ve spoken to him everyday, and needless to say, he’s pretty upset by this."

One of the victims told the newspaper that she and the other victim waited until Hart was out of town to press charges and that she hoped this led to others coming forward.

Hart, who's career has always been steeped in controversy, was under a WWE developmental deal several times in the past and has worked for a number of top flight independent promotions. He just appeared at the Jersey All Pro Wrestling revival event in Rahway, NJ several weeks back.
