Brock Lesnar was not advertised on Monday's WWE Raw because the decision made during the week was not to waste one of his dates on next Monday's Slammys-themed show. Lesnar had been booked and advertised for the 12/8 show for more than a month, and is now scheduled to return on 12/15.

Re: WWE News: Update on Brock Lesnar's return
I'd have thought this was common sense.

It does seem like a breath of fresh air to not run your champion out every date you have
Reality TV is faker than "fake" wrestling!
"The views that I'm about to express are not necessarily those of anyone else but myself, but they ought to be and, in fact, they probably are"

It is and it isn't.kirbs2002 wrote:It does seem like a breath of fresh air to not run your champion out every date you have
I've run myself out of breath over the last decade talking about how the champion should feel exclusive, it should feel like a big deal when they wrestle. People like to actually get something for their money, be it a ticket to a house show or a PPV, seeing the champ in action SHOULD feel like something better than what they give you for free - it should feel like you BOUGHT SOMETHING. WWE has achieved this and it makes me happy. Even if Lesnar's german suplexing Cena for 15 minutes, it feels special. I like it.
But going to it Cold Turkey... I don't know... there's just something unsettling about it. It just feels so, LAZY. Beyond vacated titles, I can't remember a time (and I've been watching a long time) that the champ hasn't been remotely involved. For years and years we've been overexposed to the World Champions, and I mean, he's not even phoning it in! And, forget admitting there's something wrong with that, they're not even treating it like there's something ODD about it! I think I'd feel the same way if WWE took all the chairs out of the crowd and never acknowledged why everyone was standing, and when asked directly we'd get some "Oh... well, our fans get so tired of sitting all the time. They want to stand and cheer and have a good time, not all this 'up, down, up, down, up, down' stuff. We'll bring them back once in a while, but we feel like chairs every week will make our fans lazy. We didn't think anyone would even notice!"
