ROH Death Before Dishonor IX Review:
Homicide/Jay Lethal vs Tomasso Ciampa/Rhino: ***1/4 Great opener Homicide put over Ciampa clean Lethal didn't get pinned so he loses no momentum and Ciampa gets another win over an ROH star

Mike Bennett vs Shelton Benjamin: ** Average match nothing special altho I did enjoy Bennett's taunting of the crowd he's always been great at that

3 Way Elimination Tag Match Future Shock (Adam Cole and Kyle O'Reilly) vs Young Bucks (Nick and Matt Jackson) vs The Bravado Brothers (Lance and Harlem): ***1/2 Awesome non stop action for 13 minutes

Jimmy Jacobs vs El Generico: *** I was really enjoying this match they had some great technical exchanges and a few sick highspots too bad it ended before the match really got going
Aftermath: Kevin Steen jumps over the guardrail and cuts an awesome promo "HEY GENERICO LOOK WHO'S BACK BITCH HEY JIMMY YOU TELL STEVE HE'S A F**KING P**SY FOR ME OK AND SINCE HE'S IN JAPAN YOU TELL HIM TO ASK DAVEY WHY HE'S NOT HERE DEFENDING HIS BELT" but his mic cuts out and Since he's in Japan Jimmy jumps out to fight Steen security swarms Generico dives out of the ring and hits everyone except Steen Cary tries confronting Steen Steen tries to Package Piledrive him security stops him and carries him out of the ring F**KING AWESOME SEGMENT!!!!!!!!

Michael Elgin vs Charlie Haas: **1/2 Not bad but besides the superplex moves nothing too exciting

1st Ever Ringmaster Challenge Eddie Edwards vs Roderick Strong: ****!/2 Great match lots of stiff chops suplexes superplexes fighting outside and Backbreakers basically everything you'd expect from a fast paced 40+ minute match betweenm Eddie Edwards and Roderick Strong Strong wins the 1st fall by pinfall Eddie wins the 2nd fall by submission 3rd Fall ends in a 1-1 tie but Jim Cornette says the match was too good to end in a draw and match goes to sudden death which Eddie wins

Ladder War III The Briscoes (Jay and Mark) vs All Night Xpress (Rhett Titus and Kenny King) ****1/2 THIS MATCH WAS F**KING AWESOME!!!! Bloody violent hardcore and hate filled some insane spots such as a One Night Stand thru a table suplex off the apron onto a bridged ladder and a frog splash off a Ladder so big Mark was eye to eye with the fans in the balcony seats thru a table onto Rhett Titus WATCH THIS MATCH RIGHT F**KING NOW!!!!!!

Overall Rating: 8/10 2 MOTYC's an AWESOME segment in the Steen storyline an awesome 3 Way tag match a good opener and 2 other decent matches make for a great show

i'm gonna have to rewatch this again, because i can't remember this being that good. At least not at the time when i thought that the feud had escalated waaay to quickly to a ladder war
