Cody Rhodes' WWE future

My gut feeling tells me that Cody Rhodes will be surprisingly released when WWE's annual post-WrestleMania roster cuts take place. Rhodes has been an afterthought in recent months, losing in squash matches along the way. With the WWE having too many credible heels, Rhodes' possible release wouldn't be a huge loss for the WWE. Your thoughts?

You're right in that I'd be surprised. At this point in time, I think you're right in that it wouldn't be a huge loss, but I also don't think they've milked him for all he's worth either. He came off a great IC Title run before being paired with Sandow, with whom he's done a good job seasoning. I don't ever see Cody going beyond a mid-card role, but he's solid in it and with all the guys coming up from NXT I think they'll have plenty for him to do following Wrestlemania. With WWE expressing an interest in bringing back guys like MVP and Shelton Benjamin to beef up the mid-card, I'd personally be shocked to see Cody future endevoured.

I see your logic, but I think they're just killing time with him for now until Wrestlemania season wraps up. Who knows, there's still a chance we'll see that Goldust/Cody Rhodes dream match!
