The complete lineup for Wrestle Kingdom 11, which is the biggest non-WWE pro wrestling event in the world each year, was announced at a New Japan press conference on Monday.

The lineup was mostly the same matches listed in yesterday's update with more teams involved in the trios title picture, a Cody Rhodes match, plus a Tiger Mask W match.

The matches will go on, in this order:

New Japan Rumble -- This is a Royal Rumble match basically for all the talent on the roster not on the card, as well as surprise legends and outsiders. It's more played up for surprising old-timers and that type of pop.
Tiger Mask W (who was Kota Ibushi the first time) vs. Tiger the Dark -- This is based on the Tiger Mask anime that airs on TV-Asahi.
Young Bucks vs. Rocky Romero & Baretta for the IWGP Jr. tag titles
A Trios title gauntlet match featuring these teams:
- SANADA, EVIL & BUSHI
- Bad Luck Fale, Yujiro Takahashi & Hangman Page
- Tomohiro Ishii, YOSHI-HASHI & Will Ospreay
- Champions Satoshi Kojima, Ricochet & David Finlay
Cody vs. Juice Robinson
Kyle O'Reilly vs. Adam Cole for the ROH title
Tama Tonga & Tanga Roa vs. Togi Makabe & Tomoaki Honma for the IWGP tag team titles
KUSHIDA vs. Hiromu Takahashi for IWGP Jr. title
Katsuyori Shibata vs. Hirooki Goto for NEVER Openweight title
Tetsuya Naito vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi for IC title
Kazuchika Okada vs. Kenny Omega for IWGP heavyweight title

The show will air live exclusively on New Japan World with Kevin Kelly and Steve Corino as announcers in English as well as a Japanese language feed. There will be no U.S. television PPV of this show.

I kind of like the Trios Gauntlet. Obviously it hurts the titles for these BS teams with no wins to be in there, but on another level it gets everyone on the card in a match that feels at least somewhat important.

at first I thought it was gonna be a 4 way just looking at the graphic they posted, this has my hopes up now, the only match that I see as a waste of time is actually Cody vs Juice, it feels out of nowhere

Mike Johnson from pwinsider reports that ACH is most likely going to be the Tiger Dark at Wrestle Kingdom 11. Makes sense, he was most likely challenging for the jr tag titles until the whole NOAH thing went to hell

Him working there is good, as they need new singles blood in the Jr. Heavyweight division.

plus the idea of Ibushi vs ACH even with those masks and only 10 minutes has my hopes up, but yeah Jr division needs more singles faces

haven't found anything else, but my take is that Yano is coming back from NOAH and they couldn't find something for him.

I'm sure there are bathrooms in the Tokyo Dome that need cleaning.

from F4Online

Though they appeared to reveal the full Wrestle Kingdom 11 card last week, New Japan Pro Wrestling announced a change in two of the show's title matches on Monday morning.

Tomohiro Ishii will now team with Toru Yano to make the IWGP Tag Team Championship match at the Tokyo Dome on January 4th a three-way bout with champions Guerrillas of Destiny defending against Ishii & Yano in addition to World Tag League winners Togi Makabe & Tomoaki Honma.

Yano had announced his intent to challenge for the titles at NJPW's first Road to the Tokyo Dome show last week before teaming with Ishii the next night.

With Ishii previously being scheduled to compete in the NEVER Openweight Six-Man Tag Team Championship gauntlet at the Dome, Jado will now take his place as he joins the CHAOS team of Will Ospreay & YOSHI-HASHI. That match will also include champions Satoshi Kojima, Ricochet & David Finlay, a Los Ingobernables de Japon team of SANADA, EVIL & BUSHI, and a Bullet Club team of Bad Luck Fale, Yujiro Takahashi & Hangman Page.

So Makabe and Honma had to win a whole big tournament to earn their title shot at the biggest show of the year, but f*cking YANO just shows up one day and says he wants a title shot, then he and a guy who just lost said tournament (even though Ishii & YOSHI-HASHI should have won it) pick up one lousy win over an undercard Bullet Club pairing that isn't even Bullet Club's #2 Heavyweight Tag Team and they just magically get a title shot? And the "benefit" that we all get out of this is changing two advertised title matches- one by adding a dude who has done nothing to earn the shot to the team of a stable he isn't even part of (and also taking arguably the biggest star out of a match that needs starpower for anyone to care about it), while the other title match will now be dragged down by Yano's insufferable bullsh*t. Not even TNA would do this!
