A fight broke out Sunday night backstage at a show at Arena Naucalpan involving Combate Americas figurehead president Alberto Rodriguez (the former Alberto del Rio and a wrestler best known as Alan Extreme, who was wrestling as Tortuga Rafy.
Rodriguez and Paige were at the show to see Rodriguez's brother Guillermo (El Hijo de Dos Caras) wrestle. They went backstage where there was a very narrow passageway and Rodriguez got hot at Extreme, believed to be because he thought he was touching Paige inappropriately.
An argument ensued. According to an eyewitness report, Rodriguez started yelling at Extreme, who blew him off. Rodriguez got hot at that and the much smaller Extreme tried to push him away, leading to punches being thrown. It was said to be very one-sided and spilled out to where fans saw it happening. Extreme was bleeding pretty badly but said this morning on Facebook that he was okay.
Oficial AK-47, one of the wrestlers in charge of the show, Oficial AK-47 made multiple Facebook posts where he threatened legal action and pretty much warned Rodriguez not to come back to the building.

At this point, why use him for anything? He's proving that he's a loose cannon and he's more trouble than he's worth.

Being a draw is only worth so much. If he can't work with anyone, that says to me that he's not worth it. It would be that way in any other company.Big Red Machine wrote:Isn't he still a big draw?Serujuunin wrote:At this point, why use him for anything? I think this was more of a Mexico thing. This sort of thing seems to go on a lot more often there (even with guys not known for it like Jack Evans). If you're somewhere else I think he'll be fine.Serujuunin wrote:Being a draw is only worth so much. If he can't work with anyone, that says to me that he's not worth it. King Ross's WTF moments brings in a higher viewership than TNA on a weekly basis, 500,000 people on average. Plus, all of the merchandise and the Whatculture plus stuff...cero2k wrote:money, which i seriously don't know where the What Culture guys are getting so much of itBig Red Machine wrote:But I don't wanna! whatCulture as an entire company has also got various websites, YouTube gaming channels (which are always money) and articles they write as well as magazines and all sorts.

True... but I imagine plenty has been used as a starter. It's success is lucky.cero2k wrote:i didn't imagine they would use the money of the whole site to support the promotionXIV wrote:
