EVOLVE will be running a matinee event prior to the NXT Takeover show on 8/20 in Brooklyn, running at Saint Finbars Roman Catholic Church (138 Bay 20th Street) in Brooklyn, New York. I've actually been the venue as Tommy Dee's promotion ran there back in the 1990s. There should be some additional information about the show now. The venue is about 30 minutes from the Barclays Center with a short walk and ride on the D train. Tickets go on sale Monday at www.dgusa.tv.

So Cal Val and Andrea are done here for now as Tony Nese's promo last week was set to end that association and put him in a new direction as he heads into the WWE Cruiserweight Classic. There are no current plans for them.

Caleb Konley, who signed with TNA, could always be back down the line but there are no firm plans and the company wants to focus on those who are most likely to be on WWE radar.

EC3 may have finished up this past weekend as well. The idea is that if he doesn't come back, they've blown off his storyline but left it open to where he could return even more pissed off to try and strike at EVOLVE.

Darby Allin got great marks over the weekend and is expected back.

The WWN Seminar/Tryout with Norman Smiley sold out last Friday. Smiley gave a 30 minute lecture and Q&A to the participants, then watched all the Tryout matches and offered some critiques to a group of participants. Smiley went above and beyond what was expected of him. The next Seminar/Tryout is August 19th in Joppa, MD. For details, visit www.DGUSA.tv.

There's tons of EVOLVE related content on WWE's website and social media thanks to their talent being part of the Cruiserweight Classic.

I think this had more to do with Konley going to TNA than anything else, because the direction they were going in was clearly that Val was putting the blame solely on Nese for their loss and break-up because she is really into Konley. With no Konley around for Nese to feud with, Val's presence is irrelevant.
