WWE's 32 man Cruiserweight tournament, set to film this summer for a ten episode series on the WWE Network, has discarded it's initial name "The Global Cruiserweight Series."

All references to the tournament on WWE's website have been changed to "The Cruiserweight Classic."

There will be two qualifying matches for the tournament at this Saturday's EVOLVE event in Queens, NY. For tickets, visit www.DGUSA.tv

"Cruiserweight Classic" is a MUCH lamer name than "Global Cruiserweight Series."
