Neville will not need surgery, could return in 2 - 3 months

As we've been documenting (with some help from the YouTube community), Neville suffered a nasty injury on the latest episode of Raw. A routine baseball slide resulted in reports of a broken anke and tibia which, in a worst case scenario, could involvement ligament damage, surgery and a rehabilitation window of about a half a year.

Fortunately, according to a report updated late last night (Mar. 15) on WWE.com, further evaluation points to it not being as bad as possible.

Dr. Chris Amman explains:
Neville had some repeat testing done in Orlando today which included X-Rays and a cat scan of his ankle. Upon further review, it has been determined that surgical repair of the ankle would not be necessary. Instead, he will be treated nonoperatively with a cast and crutches. The estimated return for this type of fracture is usually 2 to 3 months.
If this is right, the Slammy Award winner should be part of a big crew returning for the SummerSlam push, along with Cesaro, Seth Rollins, John Cena and Randy Orton.

The entire Cageside Seats community sends our best to Neville for a speedy recovery.
