THE VAUDEVILLANS vs. THE HYPE BROS.- 4/10
Short but fun. Holy f*ck is Aiden English pale.

TOM PHILLIPS SIT-DOWN INTERVIEW WITH CARMELLA- informative, but it didn’t particularly make me care about the title match.
Apparently she is the daughter of a former jobber, and apparently he has helped her train in MMA. You’d never know it from watching her matches.

MECHANICS PROMO- good

CARMELLA vs. EMMA (w/Dana Brooke)- 4.5/10
I marked out for Emma going for that Double Underhook Brainbuster. I was also completely shocked that Carmella didn’t get jumped from behind by Dana and Emma after the match, with Bayley coming out to make the save.

SAMI ZAYN PROMO ON THE FINISH OF LAST WEEK’S MATCH- GREAT babyface stuff

SAMOA JOE PROMO ON THE FINISH OF LAST WEEK’S MATCH- a perfect angry mean heel reaction

COLIN CASSADY & ENZO AMORE vs. TWO NAMELESS JOBBERS- squash
Enzo & Colin cut a good pre-match promo and then won a squash.

APOLLO CREWS PROMO- great!

REGAL’S DECISION- we’re now getting Zayn vs. Joe in a singles match. Corbin is unhappy about this.

ASUKA vs. SANTANA GARRETT- squash
There’s something about Santana’s body positioning that just seems awkward. Even when she’s just standing there, she just looked kind of weird, like her arms and shoulders were at a strange angle and her neck was weirdly position and one of her legs was sticking out funny.
This was a squash, but I liked the bit in the beginning with Asuka not really selling Santana’s forearms and smiling. It was just a little touch that made this feel like a uniquely Asuka squash.

FINN BALOR PROMO- awesome.

APOLLO CREWS vs. FINN BALOR- 7.5/10
I was certain that Crews was going to win this one, so the finish was quite a shock to me.

A good show from NXT.
