Report: Nikki Bella “months away” from returning to the ring

Nikki Bella is months away from returning to the ring, according to ProWrestlingSheet.com.

Sources close to the WWE Diva tell the website that she went to a neurologist following her appearance on Monday Night Raw — where she won a Slammy Award for Diva of the Year — for her latest check up on the neck injury she’s been rehabbing. Apparently there hasn’t been much change in her condition and “she’s been instructed to continue rehab for 7 more weeks before getting another MRI.”

If no progress has been made, Nikki will be forced to discuss surgery options.

The report also states the culprit for the injury is her repeated use of her finisher, the Rack Attack. Doctors say she may have to stop using the move upon her return to the ring.
