The injury that forced AJ Styles to be pulled from the current New Japan tour is a recurrence of the lower back issues that forced him to miss working the ROH TV Taping in Nashville a few weeks back.

There's no word how long he will be out of the ring. Styles is still on the current NJPW tour, but not wrestling.

being that the injury is pretty much overworking himself, i have a feeling that he is definitely not winning at Final Battle and regardless of the finish of the Styles/Nakamura match, he's taking some dates off, potentially all of the CMLL and ROH tour

Not sure about Final Battle, as he'll have a bunch of days off both before and after. I guess the same could be said for the Tokyo Dome, especially if he takes off New Year's Dash and FantasticaMania.
