Why WWE Released Brad Maddox

As we reported earlier, WWE announced the release of Brad Maddox.

According to several sources we have spoken to, Maddox was released due to language he used during a pre-match promo during a dark match at last night's Smackdown taping against R-Truth, specifically the phrase "cocky pr**ks."

We are told that WWE officials, upset with the language, then made the decision to issue Maddox's release.

Yeah. This seems to me like they were just looking for an excuse, which means that the guy has no value to them... so why keep employing him at all?

Definitely. From my understanding (I haven't watched a full episode of RAW since sometime after WrestleMania), they haven't been using him much at all. In fact, wasn't the last thing they had him do (other than be tombstoned by Taker on Jimmy Fallon) was be lost in a cave or something?

they were trying to start a tag team with Adam Rose, he even had to go blond, they had been doing superstars.

You'd think that if they were trying to do something they'd put it on Raw.
