Report: Latest on The Rock’s status for WrestleMania 32; Optimism growing that Rousey may be involved

Regarding The Rock possibly facing either Triple H or Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 32 next year, Rock is said to be fine with both matches but if he goes against Triple H, he really wants Stephanie McMahon and Ronda Rousey involved.

We’ve noted how Rousey is booked up next year but if she really wants to appear at WrestleMania, they will probably find a way to make it happen. Some feel that if all she wants to do is appear at ringside or in Rock’s corner, UFC likely won’t upset her by turning the request down.

While Rousey actually wrestling probably won’t happen, most feel that a corner role or a ringside enforcer role is very possible, even with her other commitments.

Neither of those matches (or the potential Ronda involvement as a corner) sound interesting in any way at all.

IMO the best way to use Ronda would be to build up some REALLY special for the women at Mania, and have Ronda be the troubleshooting referee and raise the top babyface's hand at the end of the match.

I was thinking with the current women (like Charlotte vs. Sasha for the first time on the main roster), but Charlotte vs. either Trish or Lita would be great, and with Lita working there now, it doesn't seem out of the realm of possibility. And with Lita in particular, it would give her one last match to go out as a babyface.
