TNA President Dixie Carter was interviewed by Sports Illustrated today and when talking about building the company as a franchise in the United States, provided an update on where TNA stands with Discovery Communication's Destination America.
"We're contracted to Destination America through the end of the year, and we are in discussions going on for 2016."
The article later states that TNA is currently slated to be off Destination America as of February 2016.

Re: TNA ON DESTINATION AMERICA STATUS UPDATE
I don't think Dixie is being truthful here. What she said (and what this article is reporting) doesn't sound like the terms of the originally reported deal at all (which, if I recall correctly, was either 2 or 3 years, and with an out-clause after September 2015).
And even more importantly... if this were the case, why hasn't anyone either told talent or scheduled more tapings yet?

Re: TNA ON DESTINATION AMERICA STATUS UPDATE
this is actually huge Red, Dixie/TNA has finally confirmed that DA indeed cancelled them. I can totally believe DA gave them two more months to find another network, just like Spike did.Big Red Machine wrote:I don't think Dixie is being truthful here. Observer is reporting this, too, but citing the same article. If it's true (and I can't imagine why Dixie would lie in a magazine piece), she probably didn't find out this morning, so it makes her look like an ass for not telling the wrestlers.cero2k wrote:this is actually huge Red, Dixie/TNA has finally confirmed that DA indeed cancelled them. Also... I know it makes me sound terrible for saying it, but I was very much enjoying the feel of this whole "ticking doomsday clock" that was going on. Oh well.

Re: TNA ON DESTINATION AMERICA STATUS UPDATE
it wouldn't be the first time that they hide stuff from the wrestlers, or maybe they were given non disclosure orders. it all seems like TNA talent has had free reigns to book themselves in other non-televised promotions for a while, so maybe there was something about it.Big Red Machine wrote: Observer is reporting this, too, but citing the same article. I was also very intrigued for the doomsday clock. It was making tonight's "all or nothing" show a must watch because of the stipulations going on
