Latest speculation on who could be Roman Reigns & Dean Ambrose’s partner at WWE NOC

As noted, Randy Orton was backstage for last night’s WWE RAW season premiere but obviously not used. With that being the go-home RAW for Night of Champions, it seems Orton won’t be the partner for Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose against The Wyatt Family on Sunday.

Regarding speculation of Erick Rowan possibly returning, PWInsider notes that he’s not ready to get back in the ring just yet. Rowan is scheduled to report to the WWE Performance Center soon to begin training again and to work some of his ring rust off.

Two other rumored or speculated names are Kane and Chris Jericho. Kane is scheduled to be backstage at Night of Champions and could provide the monster vs. monster element with Braun Strowman. Jericho could be a long shot but he hasn’t been on WWE TV in a while and has had some matches with Bray Wyatt at WWE live events, not to mention their feud in 2014. As noted, these names are not confirmed.
