Some "News"

Post by Big Red Machine » Sep 7th, '15, 00:48

I found this on WrestleChat but decided to post it here instead of in the news section because this is way too vague to qualify as "news."
We’ve noted how people within TNA insist that they have big announcements coming in regards to their future on TV and Destination America.

For what it’s worth, there have been rumors in the past 3 weeks that someone who used to be involved with TNA will be coming back to work with them again. It was said that they could be coming back in a big role.

I just feel it's Hogan of course.

It's definitely not Flair or Nash because of WWE stuff. I don't think it will be Bischoff, either, as he recently did some stuff for WWE.

Neither Tito, Punk, nor Foley qualify as having been around TNA for that long, and with the outside chance of Foley, it won't be any of them, either.

I highly doubt they'd touch Hogan at the moment, so it won't be him.

Mitchell said the money a promoter would have to pay him to leave his current job was basically WWE money (to make up for the guaranteed income he has right now), which we know TNA doesn't have. Then again, TNA is hardly a full-time job at the moment, so I guess it's possible.

It won't be AJ due to New Japan reasons and ROH reasons. It's sure as hell not going to be Cornette, either.

That leaves Raven, who is always possible but doesn't seem very likely, or Russo, who I would think they'd be smart enough not to rehire, but... you know... we've said that about Russo and TNA multiple times in the past (never mind all of the times they should have fired him but didn't.

Well TNA did hire Adam Pacman Jones after he got suspended from the NFL for shooting up a night club in 07 so I wouldn't put it past them to bring Hogan back to (although admittedly they may be smarter now given they suspended Bram for what he did instead of adding an extra zero to his contract like I assumed they would)
