CHAVO MEETS WITH DARIO CUETO- and out main event is now set
EL TEXANO JR. vs. DELAVAR DAIVARI (w/Big Ryck)- 5.75/10
Is this feud still going on?
The match was pretty good for the time it got. Daivari worked over Texano’s leg. Texano takes out both Daivari and Ryck, so hopefully this feud will be over. I’ve really warmed up to Daivari as a character, but Texano just seems so bland that I wish he’d leave so that we have more time for the more fleshed-out characters.
KONNAN GIVES PRINCE PUMA A PEP TALK- good.
Then the lights go out and Catrina showed up to tell Prince Puma that if he wins tonight, he will lose to Mil Muertes at Ultima Lucha. Then Muertes showed up to have a stare-down with Prince Puma. Then the lights went out and Mil and Catrina disappeared.
KONNAN RECRUITS A MYSTERY PERSON TO HELP PRINCE PUMA- good.
This person also has a grudge against Chavo for the Blue Demon thing.
HERNANDEZ vs. DRAGO- 6.5/10
They had a good match ending in a good DQ. Then Hernandez cut a promo that was… well… calling it “not good” would very kind.
CHAVO SHOWS NO FEAR OF MIL MUERTES- good.
ALBERTO EL PATRON vs. MARTY “THE MOTH” MARTINEZ- AWESOME squash.
Then Alberto cut an awesome promo. Quite the awesome night for Mr. El Patron.
NO DISQUALIFICATIONS LUCHA UNDERGROUND TITLE MATCH IN WHICH IF KONNAN GETS INVOLVED, PRINCE PUMA FORFEITS THE TITLE: Prince Puma(c) (w/Konnan) vs. Chavo Guerrero Jr. (w/the Crew)- no rating. Eh segment.
Does anyone know if Chavo’s injury here was legit? Because if it wasn’t, this was terrible booking. I felt so bad for Chavo being injured in his big title match. Also, the mystery person was El Texano Jr. I’m so excited I could get up and do something else.
TEXANO PROMO- the man whose name literally translates to “The Texan” tell us that he represents Mexico.
CHAVO & BLUE DEMON JR. BACKSTAGE- Chavo tricks Blue Demon Jr. into being angry that the fans like Texano more than him, so I guess now they are going to feud over which one of them is more Mexican. That doesn’t sound interesting at all.
An entertaining show from Lucha Underground.

I love that even with how evil Muertes has become, Chavo is still the one that disappears into the shadows
