Steve Anthony defeated Jushin Liger to win the NWA jr. heavyweight championship last night at the Gold Coast Hotel in Las Vegas.
Liger had won the title in Japan from Chase Owens.
It was the second straight year a major NWA title had changed hands as part of the festivities involving the Cauliflower Alley Club. Last year Rob Conway regained the NWA heavyweight title beating New Japan's Satoshi Kojima in an event leading up to the CAC banquet.

Maybe want an American guy to have it for the event?
Reality TV is faker than "fake" wrestling!

I think they are just trying to make the show big and it's a convenient time to take it off of the New Japan guys (just like the New Japan guys tend to win NWA belts either right before or at the Tokyo Dome) because New Japan seems to block off this part of the year for tours of the US Canada and the UK.kirbs2002 wrote:Maybe want an American guy to have it for the event?
