Sometimes, I feel like I'm the only one that's somewhat positive towards the Ascension.

And how long have you been watching them have squash matches for? Give it a year of almost nothing but squashes, and I'm sure you'll start to throw things, too.

And really! How can you still be positive after they've been spewing off dozens of utterly dumb catchphrases every week?

I suppose it comes with not watching NXT religiously other than for select matches. As for utterly dumb catchphrases, I've always enjoyed corny 80's promos, and Ascension throws me back to watching old Road Warriors/LOD shtick. Not quite as intense or roidbellied, sure, but I enjoy it. Considering how the rest of the Dubya Universe is reacting though, I guess I'll be sick of 'em eventually.

It probably won't be as intolerable as it was on NXT. They rarely talked on NXT, and when they did, it wasn't dumb 80's catchphrase (more like dumb 2000's catchphrases). The issue with them was more that in eighteen months of NXT, I can remember maybe ten tag matches they had that weren't squashes, and most of those came in the feud with Balor and Itami, so you really had about sixteen straight months of just squashes aside from a few tag title defenses.
