BRM Reviews the 11/15/2014 ROH (great)

CAPRICE COLEMAN, WILL FERRARA, & TADARIUS THOMAS vs. THE DECADE (BJ Whitmer, Roderick Strong, & Adam Page)- 6.25/10
A fun opener. Adam Page and Roderick Strong had some miscues, one of which led to the finish.

AFTERMATH- Roddy and Page got into it. BJ grabbed a mic and demanded that they squash their heat right now, and told Roddy to shake Page's hand. Roddy refused to do so and yelled at BJ. Page jumped Roddy from behind. Whitmer just stood and watch. When Roddy started to make a comeback, BJ jumped in and attacked him. Roddy managed to fight back, and Whitmer had to save Page from eating Death By Roderick.

KEVIN KELLY INTERVIEWS RAYMOND ROWE- BJ Whitmer & Adam Page interrupt. Whitmer mocks Rowe and tries to goad him into a fight. Rowe removes his protective arm gear, but referees quickly stop him and take him to the back.

BJ WHITMER PROMO- he calls Roddy self-centered. Then he cut a promo that really sounded like he was reciting lines, and made a challenge for Final Battle: Roderick Strong vs. Adam Page.

ADAM COLE PROMO- okay. Really just an info dump that he won Survival of the Fittest and will be challenging for the ROH World Title at Final Battle.

ROH TV TITLE MATCH: Jay Lethal(c) (w/Truth Martini) vs. ACH- 8/10
They told a great story with Lethal working over ACH's neck and ACH sold everything beautifully, but if he was on the outside for an entire commercial break while referees were trying to determine if he could continue or not, shouldn't he have been counted out?
Other than that, this was an awesome match. THIS is an example of where I thought kicking out of a finisher at one worked perfectly, and that was because the way that ACH had been selling his neck throughout the match seemed to build up to it.
Matt Sydal was on commentary for this match, and kind of came off like a douche.

POST-MATCH SEGMENT- they teased Sydal joining the House of Truth (which they did a good job of building up on commentary), but instead he snubbed Lethal on a handshake and instead indicated that he wanted the TV Title. Again, Sydal came off like a douche... which is fine because that's where his character left off in ROH seven years ago (it's amazing how long it has been), but they will have trouble pushing him as a babyface if this keeps up.

Anyway, another great show from ROH!
