Bulletclubfan2014 Reviews ROH Northern Aggression

ROH Northern Aggression Review:
This is the 2nd show of a 2 show weekend I reviewed the 1st 1 and here';s the 2nd 1
TJ Perkins vs Michael Bennett: **1/2 Decent Opener Bennett had 2 impressive showings over the weekend and showed he improvement potential

The Bravado Bros (Lancelot and Harlem) vs All Night Xpress (Rhett Titus and Kenny King): The Young Bucks jump ANX before the match and injure Rhett's knee with a chair and they decide Rhett can't wrestle and Kenny is told he can either face the Bravados in a handicap match or forfeit and he wants to face both of them
The Bravado Bros vs Kenny King: ** Not very good pretty slow and plodding and the fact Rhett was deemed unable to compete and then came out and wrestled was a logic hole I didn't like so not a fan of this match

Adam Cole Promo: Cole says he wants to earn a title shot and be a champion
Proving Ground for a shot at the ROH TV Title Jay Lethal vs Adam Cole: ***1/2 At the time this was the best Proving Ground match they'd done and 1 of the best Proving Ground matches
Jay Lethal Promo: Lethal says Cole took him to the limit and has what it takes but he was just a little bit better on that day
Adam Cole Promo: Cole says people are saying it was 1 of the best Proving Ground matches they've ever seen but everyone in ROH can have great matches his anger and frustration are growing because he knows he can be a top guy but he hasn't shown it Eddie Edwards shows up and congratulates him on putting on a great match even in defeat

C&C Promo: Caprice and Cedric are training and saying they're facing the Young Bucks who've been on a win streak as of late and that it's there 1st match in there hometown since signing with ROH and can't lose

C&C Wrestle Factory(Cedric Alexander and Caprice Coleman) vs The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) ***1/2 Great match felt like a shorter version of the Young Bucks usual awesomeness in PWG and while C&C lost they had there best match in ROH at this point
Young Bucks Promo: Bucks say they're responsible for Tag wrestling existing today and they won't shake C&C's hands today but maybe someday they will

Andy Ridge vs Samson: ** Samson was pretty slow and plodding but he hit some nice moves and Ridge is good as a plucky underdog in short matches

8 Man All Star Elimation Match Eddie Edwards El Generico and Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team (Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas) vs Roderick Strong Michael Elgin and Briscoe Brothers (Jay and Mark): ****1/4 Great match the 1st 10 minutes were pretty slow but the match was 80 MINUTES and after the slow start it was action packed so basically GO WATCH THIS MATCH!!! 80 Minutes of fast paced hard hitting action with great storytelling

Overall Rating: This is for both shows 7/10 both shows have some good matches where everything that u thought would be good was good and most of the stuff that didn't look interesting was at least good so I'll give the 2 show bundle Battle In The Carolinas a thumbs up

Not that I have searched too far and wide, but I don't think I have seen a single person give this match any other rating.

I thought they did a great job with the pacing and the story as well.

Every rating I've seen has been between ***3/4-****1/2
