BNXL's thoughts on the 4/14/14 Raw

***Let me start off by saying that I will only comment on the matches.***

RVD v. ADR- Good match, with a pretty obvious botch but it didn't take anything away in the end. I kinda wish this tourny started with 16 guys instead of eight so Del Rio could get a win. I also didn't hear any of the commentators mention how Del Rio has already beat Big E twice in the last two months, and that kinda bothered me.

Rybaxel v. the Brotherhood- Average, competitive match with a nice ending. I don't think either team really came off as losing anything here. GREAT counter for the finish by Ryback. This is the type of filler match I like to see!

Alicia Fox v. Paige- soooo....are we just not gonna get any more AJ Lee?! Alicia Fox would be a hell of a lot better if she could string moves together instead of taking ten seconds between each move. Paige is good, but they need to develop her character for the WWE audience bc they're starting her off as this bland underdog babyface and we all know that ain't gonna get it, esp not with the Divas. Decent Divas match with a good finish by Paige.

Usos v. Batista and Randy Orton- They shouldn't use the Usos as the pawns in this; why not Kofi and Ziggler? Why not the Brotherhood? You're marginalizing your tag champs! Shield interferes and attack Batista and Orton. I LOVE the way the Shield is being used; they maintain their edge while embracing crowd reaction they get (WWE's doing a great job with the Wyatt Fam and Cesaro in the same way).

Cesaro v. Mark Henry- Very good match, Great show of Cesaro's versatility and Heyman's managerial expertise.

Alexander Rusev v. Xavier Woods- Good Squash. Lana is pretty annoying; that accent just seems WAAAY too exaggerated. Rusev looks good, but you have to suck pretty hard not to look good squashing another guy.

Sheamus v. Jack Swagger- Surprisingly great match! Lots of good reversals in addition to the physicality one would expect. Both guys looked good.

Big Show v. Damien Sandow- DUD. Why not give more time to another match, rather than this? Total waste of time.

Fandango and Layla v. Santino and Emma- DUD pt. Deux! I AM interested to see what they do with Summer Rae from now on.

Dolph Ziggler v. Wade Barrett- Surprisingly not as good as the other IC Title tournament matches. It did pick up in the end but the first few minutes were pretty boring.

Shield v. Everybody and their Mama- DUD! HHH should have known when Batista's return flopped, NOONE would give a crap about an Evolution reunion! Yet, you tease it all night, make it PAINFULLY obvious you're gonna do it, you do it, AND NOONE CARES! There was almost no reaction when their music hit, let alone a pop. I do hope this leads to the Shield beating Evolution in a War Games match at Extreme Rules.....
