As prestigious as "The Streak" is, I have my doubts that this is locked in.
Forget about The Streak. This is just such a f*cking perfect mix of styles between two HUGE stars. Then when you throw in both the Mania factor and The Streak, unless Dragon is winning the world title, I don't see how this can't be the main event.

I just wouldn't bet my paycheck on on a Dragon victory here, because #hunterwinslol, and WWE's track record with satisfying the fans. It'll only make the victory sweeter for me if it happens! :p

1) not the real main event because of Taker vs. Brock, and thus it is okay to use it to set up Bryan vs. Dave after Mania
or
2) they really go all out with Bryana and have the stip for Bryan vs. Hunter be that if Bryan wins he gets added to the title match, then have him beat Hunter and win the title in the main event.
1. Close the show with 2 Part Timers? Talk about dumping fuel on an already engulfed locker room.
2. That would solve the problem, except it'd be tough to sell the show on the possibility of Bryan having the opportunity of winning the title. They still need to make Batista/Orton compelling on it's own for that to work... and I don't think they can.

I've (obviously) been thinking about this a lot today. Batista, Orton, and Triple H are in the ring next week doing whatever and they're getting chanted out of the building. Vince's music hits, he's not happy about the reception his Wrestlemania Main Event is getting. "Hunter... your boys aren't getting it done..." he says. "Who in this arena is excited about Randy Orton vs Batista for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship?" [boos] "Yeah, see. This is how you want to sell WRESTLEMANIA? THIS is how you intend on selling The Network!? No... no, I thought you could handle this but I'm taking over. The Main Event for Wrestlemania 30 will be... a TRIPLE THREAT!" Of course this upsets Triple H... "Who exactly did you have in mind...?" Cue Punk's music... in Chicago.

This lays the groundwork for Triple H vs Vince after Wrestlemania, as leading up to it Vince can continue his face turn by getting Trips to accept Bryan's challenge... "What's the matter with you!? Hell, if you don't want to wrestle Daniel Bryan I'll do it!

It's perfect you brought up Vince, he's the missing piece to this puzzle!

1. Except that one of those part-timers is THE UNDERTAKER. Do you really think that anyone is going to complain?
2.But they really don't need to sell the show at all because of the WWE Network. And even so, I think people want to see Dragon win that badly. Of course there would probably be a riot if Hunter beat him, but that's all the more reason not to have Hunter beat him.

This would be so stupendously awesome that I will now be disappointed if it doesn't happen.
