The rumble is by far my favorite WWE show of the year, the one and only i'm willing to pay for. But i gotta be honest, watching last nights' RAW, i'm not really sure if I wanna see it anymore (i will, but i may not be willing to pay for it)
here's the way i see it.
1. Confirmed, Daniel Bryan (my favorite to win the rumble since summer) is out of the rumble so he can fight Bray Wyatt. Sure, he could pull double duty, but what are the chances? And we know Punk is getting screwed out of the Rumble by the Authority, so there's that too
2. This brings me to Bray vs Bryan, a story that I do feel should have ended when Daniel Bryan destroyed Bray Wyatt inside the cage, what else is needed?
3. Cena vs Orton. Again. ZZZ
4. Is there anyway that Batista can't win the rumble? Highly doubt it. It works perfectly, Batista wins the rumble, Lesnar wins on EC. There's your main event for WM. Meanwhile, cero gives no fucks.
5. Talking about Lesnar. Show vs Lesnar. Snooore
6. Rest of the card i don't even know what to expect. Kickoff is BRhodes vs NAO, but i honestly never watch the kickoff anyway.
So i don't know, i'll definitely watch the rumble match for what it is, but i really don't like the expected outcome, and I surely don't give a damn about the rest of the card.
What are your thoughts guys? Still hyped about the Rumble?
Are you still interested in the Rumble this year?

1. Dragon pulling double duty is a big possibility, IMO. WWE has had a lot of people pull double duty in the rumbles in recent years, and we know how much they love their surprises, so I can see them booking Dragon vs. Bray as a misdirect to make people think he won't be in the Rumble (which he never actually said he wouldn't be).
2. I can't see Bray allowing the story to end this way. It's not in his nature. I think that (if Dragon wins the Rumble), they would need to do some sort of tag team match at Elimination Chamber that would transition Bray into feuding with someone else (Cena?), then have Dragon win the title at Mania, have Bray take credit for giving Bryan the confidence he needed and say that whether he realizes it or not, Dragon has been working for Bray this whole time, and use that to build up to a blow-off at Extreme Rules.
3. Agreed, especially because the chances of Cena winning are negligible, (IMO), but I thought they had an awesome match at TLC, so if I"m watching the show, I won't skip the match or anything like that.
4. I think this is the most likely possibility, but I think that they could build some suspense into it, like they did last year with Ryback. Yeah, Big Dave will probably win, but just like with the WWE Title match where no matter how likely an Orton victory is, there is always the doubt in the back of your mind that WWE will just put Cena over because that's what they do, I think that if you have Dragon in there at the end, or if you have Punk go from #1 all the way until the end, or a big return of someone like Sheamus, people will believe that there is a possibility that one of those guys can win.
5. I have hope that Brock can pull a good match out of Show.
6. I usually watch the kick-off show match if someone I like is in it, but I think they will actually give this time and make it worthwhile.
The non-existence of any other matches do bother me, though.
I'm quite hyped for the show, but I'm definitely hopeful.

yep; on paper of course.Big Red Machine wrote:Best ever? Really? Better than 2000 or 2001? Really?badnewzxl wrote:I'm def ordering this; this is the best RR card ever!
RR 2000: NAO v. APA? Y2J v. Chyna v. Holly? Two crappy match-ups. The Chyna/Jericho Angle was just trash and Jericho should have never had to do it. Plus, Hardcore Holly? SNOREFEST! I wasn't excited for either of these matches.
RR 2001: Card is great, but I think this years' is just a card of higher profile matches:
Bryan v. Wyatt
Show v. Lesnar
Cena v. Orton
If they add AJ v. Naomi or something, the card could lose some points, but on paper and at this moment, either of these three matches could headline a WWE PPV.
