Backstage Update: Sin Cara To Be Repackaged

Frustrations with Sin Cara continue backstage following the seamless transition Masacrita Dorada has made with his transformation to Los Matadores mascot El Torito. While he hasn't seen much traditional ring action, WWE officials have noted how crisp and exciting Torito's offence comes across, they've also noted how over he is with the live crowds and that he's yet to injure himself.

This has surprised many, as something they threw together as a novelty act is getting the reaction they were hoping for with Sin Cara all along. While some backstage had completely written Sin Cara off, there are some - most notably Vince McMahon - who think they can still see a return on the investment. Sources say when asked if a possible program with 3MB was in order, since McIntyre and Slater seem to know how to sell the style, Vince was heard saying "No! We're gonna throw him in a cow costume and put him with the Mexicans like we did the midget!". Triple H reportedly isn't high up on the idea but "is willing to try anything at this point".

As it stands, Cara is expected to debut the new gimmick as a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble "saving" El Torito from being eaten by Big E Langston and Brodus Clay who will be trying to rip him in half. From there, officials expect Cara to join Los Matadores in a 3 man stable and intend on El Torito correcting Sin Cara publicly every time he blows a spot, explaining to him what he did wrong in front of the live crowd and then performing the move correctly himself. Even though this would mean expecting to go off script, they feel it would be entertaining and give Torito plenty to do. Vince also was overheard saying how funny it would be to see "the midget trying to drink milk out of the cows udders once in a while".

It's unknown at this time if this is set in stone, but it should be noted WWE applied to trademark the name "Vaca Torpe" this week. More on this as we get it!

Am I the only one bothered by how politically incorrect Vince's statement was?
