Many people think that the first one hour marathon match was Shawn Michaels vs Bret Hart at Wrestlemania 12 in Anaheim. That's not true. To my knowledge, this was the first ONE HOUR marathon match in WWF history, with Ric Flair vs Bret Hart from the Boston Gardens from Jan. 9th, 1993.
