your opinionsAfter watching the Triple H documentary, I was thinking about what the future holds for wrestling fans of a certain age.
As much of us wouldn't want to admit it, some of us are of a certain age and have 20+ years of wrestling fandom behind us.
Hopefully my kids will be as interested in the sport as I am and I was wondering what match that us, as parents or older people, will be looking forward to at Wrestlemania 45 for example, what will be our Triple H/Undertaker?
I'm personally not sure what 2 people I'd put together as there seems to be a million combinations but one person who would definitely be involved is John Cena.
Hate or love him, he is the top star of this generation. For him not to be involved and/or have some kid of Triple H/Undertaker style swansong.
What could be the next 'End of Era' match?
What could be the next 'End of Era' match?

Easy: Orton v. Cena. Edge is retired and Batista honestly couldn't do it. I can't even think of anyone else....

Easily either one, it all depends on how the next few years treats them.cero2k wrote:I'm personally thinking it could be more punk v cena.badnewzxl wrote:Easy: Orton v. Cena. Edge is retired and Batista honestly couldn't do it. I can't even think of anyone else....
I'll throw Kurt Angle's tiny cowboy hat into this ring as well. Kind of a stretch, as he's spent most of this 'era' in a different company, but I'd put him in the same group as Edge or Batista.

Re: What could be the next 'End of Era' match?
I consider Punk to be a part of the new Generation; I think of him, Sheamus, and Bryan as the same era. I think of Angle and Jericho as the same era as well (the Ruthless Aggression Era; and no one else who hadn't already been established really stepped up and became world/WWE champ during that time. Maybe JBL or Rey? Eddie and Beniot would have been obvious choices as well). But Cena's generation is def Cena, Orton, Edge, and Batista; they were the mainstay main eventers while HHH, HBK, and Taker began to wind down a bunch....Bob-O wrote:Easily either one, it all depends on how the next few years treats them.cero2k wrote:I'm personally thinking it could be more punk v cena.badnewzxl wrote:Easy: Orton v.
